Welcome to Devil’s Isle
Devil’s Isle is a fun place in the California Delta where members cruise in and enjoy fun, sun and peace of mind with like minded fellow boaters. Our special dates are always the three summer holiday weekends where the majority of members cruise in and enjoy parties, swimming, games, and barbeques. At other times in the spring, summer and fall, members enjoy a quiet place to tie up and enjoy the peace of boating without having to anchor out. Members can be seen enjoying Devil’s Isle any day of the week or weekend all year around. Since this is member owned and run, we also gather in the spring and fall to do regular maintenance on our facilities; roof covered decks, floats, docks, barbeque, tables, walkways and dog runs. Our facilities are also rented to fellow yacht clubs for cruise-ins with one of our members acting as hosts for each cruise-in.
Discover Our Home Away From Home
The members typically stern their boats into the docks to allow for more boats on the holiday weekends. The bow is facing the morning sun and the prevailing winds are across the island and toward the stern of the boat. In the approximate center of the long dock is a float which is close to the water and has a swim ladder for members use. In the summer months an awing covers this swim platform and members enjoy gathering for drinks and conversation any time of the day.
